4-6 people- This ranch house sits on 10 acres with views for miles.
- Located, 7 minutes from downtown Lockhart, 20 minutes from Circuit of the Americas, 25 minutes from Austin, and San Antonio is 1 hour away.
- The house has two bed rooms.
- 1st bedroom is very large with a king sized bed and two twin beds with attached bathroom and a walk in shower.
- 2nd bedroom is average sized with a queen bed close to a second bathroom.
- The property has a great soaking pool perfect to relax in after a long day. The pool area also has a large play gym for children.
- This house is a great meeting place for people that don’t want to stay in a congested city or town.
- We allow well behaved potty trained pets with a deposit.
- Because the house neighbors our gun range property Children under the age of 10 years old are not allowed.
- The house and property have a lot of charm. It’s about as “Texas” as you can get.

There are things that you need to consider before your stay at The House that Guns Built before you commit.
- This house is a ranch house and is not new or remodeled. It’s just how it was for my family before we moved next door. The house is rough in a lot of ways but has a lot of charm
- This is a working ranch; there could be grazing cattle or horses just outside the door.
- Our gun range opens at 9am and closes at 7pm in the summer months. We close at 5:30pm during November –March. You will be woken up at 9am.
- You can walk the 10 acres the house sits on but the surrounding 50 acres are gun range land. You or your pets can NOT step onto that land.
- The soaking pool is 3 feet deep and has a small heater for the winter. This pool is maintained and chlorinated but it’s a metal stock tank. No diving, jumping, or moving the tub
- Wildlife is everywhere including rattlesnakes. Be mindful
- If you have pets please don’t leave them in the fenced in area if you leave, unless you are sure that they will stay.
- On the ranch we don’t throw away or replace good materials so sheets, bedding, towels and kitchenware is very clean but not in the newest fashions.
- WE do require a two night minimum during the weekends.
- We are right next door and pretty laid back and can help with anything you need.
- We have chickens on the property, and they are free range Please understand if you leave the front door open, they will come in.
- We regret that this house is not wheel chair accessible and is on the second floor above the two garages.
- We have dogs, cats, and many animals and we try our best to make sure they won’t bother you but you may be visited by our sweet Golden retriever during your stay.
